  • The Surface of AAC blocks must be wet prior to the application i.e. Pre-wetting is required so that the block/s does not absorb moisture from AAC Block Jointing Mortar
  • MIXING AND APPLICATION

Approx. 25% water (by weight of material) is required for mixing. Mixing can be done either manually or with mechanical mixer / stirrer. It is advisable to use a mechanical Mixer to get homogeneous mix. The material should be applied within 90 minutes after preparation. It is recommended to apply Jointing Mortar with a Notched Trowel that can provide minimum 3mm thick layer. Do not use sand-cement mortar for courses other than the levelling course.

    CURING

No curing is required for Joints / AAC wall after the application of AAC Block Jointing Mortar. Natural air curing is enough. Curing of conventional levelling course / bedding layer is essential for at least 3 days.
