SURFACE PREPARATION
- Dust layer, if any on the surface of the blocks/bricks must be wiped
- The Surface of blocks/bricks must be wet prior to the application i.e. Pre-wetting is required so that the blocks / bricks does not absorb moisture from Thick Bed Jointing Mortar
MIXING AND APPLICATION
pprox. 25% water (by weight of material) is required for mixing. Mixing can be done either manually or with mechanical mixer / stirrer. It is advisable to use a mechanical Mixer to get homogeneous mix. The material should be applied within 90 minutes after preparation.
CURING
No curing is required for Joints.
Storage and Packaging
SPEED DRY MIX - THICK BED JOINTING MORTAR is delivered in 40 Kg bag. Storage life is Six months if the product is stored in a dry place.
