SURFACE PREPARATION

Surface must be free from dust / loose particles, grease, mould oil, rust metal, wood peels, paints and plastics. Surface must be dampened / premoistened at least 15 minutes before the application of Stucco.

MIXING AND APPLICATION

Approx. 23% water (by weight of material) is required for mixing. For better results, mixing should be preferably done with mechanical mixer/stirrer. Mixing would normally take 3-5 minutes. The material should be applied within 90 minutes of preparation. Second coat, if required to be applied after 24 hours. It can be applied in multiple coats for higher thickness.

CURING

Natural air curing is enough. However, water mist is required under extremely hot or dry condition ( at least three times a day for initial three days. Generally, water mist can be initiated if temperature levels exceeds 38oC ..reference Building Code Requirements for Masonry Structures (ACI 530/ASCE 5/TMS 402) [Ref. 6], table 1)

Storage and Packaging

Speed Dry Mix - Vintage Stucco is delivered in 40 Kg bag. Storage life is six months. Material should be stored in a dry place

HEALTH AND SAFETY

Recommended to wear NIOSH approved or equivalent particulate face mask when mixing the material. Keep out of reach of children. Although Product contains only Non-toxic materials, care should be taken to avoid dust inhalation while mixing and handling
